The Tippmann Construction Safety Manager is responsible for managing, monitoring, administering, and coordinating the activities of the organization in support of and in alignment with the Safety policies, goals, and objectives established by the corporate Director of Safety. Specific duties are as noted below.
Core Responsibilities:
• Responsible for coordinating and development of all corporate safety policies, procedures, programs, and objectives with all Tippmann Construction employees and job sites
• Provide or coordinate training as needed for all Tippmann Construction employees to ensure compliance
• Acts as main point of contact for outside agencies and contractors in regards to all safety and health matters
• Creates safety metrics and goals for Tippmann Construction and tracks injuries and illnesses while discovering areas for improvement
• Acts as a resource for all Tippmann Construction employees for OSHA and safety policy and procedure consultation
• Routinely audits job sites to ensure proper safety procedures are being followed
• Coordinates with on-site Project Management and site Safety Consultant to ensure consistent site safety
• Coordinates utilization of 3rd party Safety Consultants during companywide safety program improvements
• Responsible for continually developing Tippmann Construction safety training, programs, and processes
• Other duties as required
Skills and Capabilities:
• College degree or relevant work experience
• Understanding of Safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
• OSHA 30 Hour trained
• Capable of developing advanced knowledge of the company policies and programs
• Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to handle internal and external communications
• Aptitude for developing and delivering presentations and training
• Demonstrated leadership in taking initiative and coordinating activities among a team of individuals
• Track record of positive job performance, attention to detail and results-oriented experience
• Self-starter, highly motivated and require limited supervision
• Positive attitude and demonstrated strong work ethic
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite of products including Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook
• Process Safety Management (PSM) experience preferred

• Travel to job sites is required
• Position is based at the Interstate Warehousing Facility in Anderson, IN
• The candidate must pass a pre-employment drug-screening.
